Day 1

Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel southeast toward Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya's largest and oldest protected wildlife areas.

Upon arrival, enter the park and immediately begin searching for wildlife as you make your way to the lodge.

After lunch and some relaxation, embark on an afternoon game drive across the vast plains of Tsavo East.

The park is renowned for its red-dust elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species.

The expansive landscapes provide exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active.

As the sun rises across the savannah, enjoy opportunities to observe predators returning from their nighttime hunts and herbivores gathering near water sources.

After breakfast, continue through the Tsavo ecosystem toward Tsavo West National Park.

Following lunch at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring the park's dramatic volcanic scenery, rolling hills, and wildlife-rich habitats.

Later, visit the famous Mzima Springs where crystal-clear waters attract hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

Day 3

Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart Tsavo West and travel toward Amboseli National Park.

The journey offers changing landscapes and beautiful views as you approach one of Kenya's most celebrated safari destinations.

Arrive in time for lunch at your mid-range lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through Amboseli's open plains and marshlands.

Keep watch for the park's famous elephant herds, as well as lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes.

On clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a stunning backdrop for photography.

The morning light creates unforgettable safari moments and excellent photographic opportunities.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Enjoy views of rural Kenya and scenic landscapes along the way before arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable Giants Trail Safari.
