AMAZING JUNGLES TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please take time to read these Terms & Conditions before confirming your safari or travel arrangements with Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel. By confirming a booking or making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

If you have any questions or require clarification, please contact Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel before making your booking.

1. BOOKINGS & RESERVATIONS

1.1 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel arranges safari and travel services including transportation, accommodation, national park visits, activities, permits, airport transfers, meals, and other travel services through the company and independent service providers.

1.2 All itineraries and travel information are prepared using information available to Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel at the time of booking. Accommodation, activities, routes, prices, permits, and other services remain subject to availability until confirmed in writing.

1.3 For certain services, including gorilla and chimpanzee permits, flights, or other restricted bookings, Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel may require the traveller’s full name as shown on their passport, nationality, passport details, and other information required by relevant authorities or service providers.

1.4 Travellers must inform Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel of any special requirements before confirming their booking, including dietary requirements, medical conditions that may affect the safari, mobility requirements, disabilities, allergies, or other important needs. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests where possible.

1.5 A booking is confirmed only after Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel has received the required deposit or full payment and issued written confirmation.

1.6 Requests to change a confirmed booking, including travel dates, accommodation, activities, or itinerary arrangements, are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Any applicable amendment costs will be communicated to the client before the change is confirmed where practicable.

1.7 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodation, transportation, activities, or route when necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate significant changes to the client as soon as reasonably possible and provide suitable alternatives where available.

 

2. SAFARI PRICES & INCLUSIONS

2.1 The services included in each safari or travel arrangement are clearly stated in the individual itinerary or quotation provided to the client.

Depending on the safari, inclusions may include:

– Accommodation

– Meals as specified in the itinerary

– Ground transportation

– English-speaking driver/guide

– National park and conservation fees

– Permits where specifically stated

– Airport transfers where applicable

– Activities and excursions specifically listed

– Bottled drinking water in the safari vehicle where stated

2.2 Unless specifically stated in the quotation, the following are generally excluded:

– International and domestic flights

– Visas and passport costs

– Travel insurance

– Personal expenses

– Alcoholic and other drinks

– Meals not specified in the itinerary

– Tips and gratuities

– Laundry

– Personal purchases

– Optional activities

– Any other service not specifically listed as included

2.3 Prices displayed on the Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel website or provided in quotations are subject to change and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed in writing.

2.4 Prices may change due to fluctuations in exchange rates, changes in park fees, government charges, accommodation rates, fuel costs, flights, permits, taxes, or other supplier costs.

Where possible, Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will notify the client of any applicable price changes before confirmation.

 

3. SAFARI OPERATIONS

3.1  Wildlife safaris involve observing animals in their natural environment. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel is therefore not responsible when specific animals are not seen during a safari.

3.2 Gorilla and chimpanzee permits provide access to the relevant trekking or tracking activity but do not guarantee a particular length of viewing time, location, or uninterrupted sighting of the animals.

3.3 Accommodation is based on the room type stated in the confirmed itinerary. Single rooms may be available at an additional supplement and are subject to availability.

3.4 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel may substitute accommodation with another property of a similar or higher standard when the originally confirmed property becomes unavailable or circumstances require a change. Any unavoidable additional cost will be communicated to the client.

3.5 The type of safari vehicle used will depend on the itinerary, road conditions, group size, destination, and services booked. Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will make reasonable efforts to provide safe and suitable transportation.

3.6 The driver/guide is responsible for making reasonable operational decisions regarding routes, driving conditions, wildlife viewing, and safety. Clients must follow reasonable instructions given by their driver/guide, park rangers, accommodation staff, and other authorized personnel.

3.7 Routes, activities, and schedules may change because of weather, road conditions, park regulations, wildlife conditions, security concerns, mechanical problems, government restrictions, closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where necessary, Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will make reasonable alternative arrangements.

3.8 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel may engage trusted subcontractors or independent service providers to provide certain transportation, accommodation, activities, or other travel services.

3.9 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel reserves the right to remove a client from a safari where their behaviour creates a serious risk to themselves, other travellers, staff, property, wildlife, or the environment, or where they seriously disregard safety instructions.

In such circumstances, any additional costs arising from the client’s removal or early termination of the safari will be the client’s responsibility.

 

4. PAYMENT

4.1 Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, a 30% deposit is required to confirm a safari booking.

4.2 Certain services, including gorilla and chimpanzee permits, flights, or other non-refundable services, may require full payment in advance.

4.3 The remaining balance is due no later than 42 days before the safari start date, unless a different payment schedule has been agreed in writing.

4.4 Bookings made within 42 days of the safari start date must generally be paid in full at the time of confirmation unless otherwise agreed.

4.5 If the required payment is not received by the agreed deadline, Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the applicable cancellation charges.

4.6 Payment methods accepted by Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will be stated on the client’s quotation or invoice.

4.7 Any bank charges, international transaction fees, card processing fees, or other payment-related charges are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.

 

5. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

5.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The cancellation becomes effective on the date Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel receives the written cancellation request.

5.2 Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, the following cancellation charges apply to the basic safari program:

5.3 The cancellation charges above do not limit Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel’s right to deduct non-refundable costs already incurred on behalf of the client, including permits, flights, accommodation charges, supplier penalties, and other committed expenses.

5.4 Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of the relevant wildlife authority. Where a permit is non-refundable, the amount paid for that permit will not be refunded.

5.5 Flight tickets are subject to the fare rules and cancellation policies of the relevant airline. Any applicable cancellation or amendment charges will be deducted from amounts refundable to the client.

5.6 No refund will normally be provided for unused services resulting from late arrival, early departure, missed activities, no-show, or voluntary withdrawal from part of the safari.

5.7 Where a refund is approved, the refund will be processed after deduction of applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable costs, and payment processing or transaction fees where applicable.

 

6. COMPLAINTS

6.1 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel is committed to providing a high standard of service throughout every safari.

6.2 If a problem occurs during the safari, the client should report it immediately to their driver/guide or Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel representative. This allows us the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter while the client is still travelling.

6.3 If the matter cannot be resolved during the safari, the client should submit the complaint in writing as soon as reasonably possible after completing the safari.

6.4 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel may not be able to accept responsibility for complaints where the company was not given a reasonable opportunity to investigate or resolve the problem during the safari.

 

7. LIABILITY & UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

7.1 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will take reasonable care when arranging and delivering the services included in a safari.

7.2 Some services are provided by independent hotels, lodges, airlines, activity providers, transport providers, parks, government authorities, and other third parties. Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel is not responsible for failures or changes caused by third-party providers where such matters are outside the company’s reasonable control.

7.3 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, additional expenses, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

– Severe weather

– Natural disasters

– Road closures

– Government restrictions

– Border closures

– Civil unrest

– Strikes

– Security incidents

– Epidemics or pandemics

– Flight disruptions

– Park closures

– Accommodation closures

– Mechanical or technical failures

– Changes in government regulations

– Other force majeure events

7.4 Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination or health documentation, and any other documents required for their journey.

7.5 Clients are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage, personal belongings, and other risks associated with international travel.

7.6 Clients should seek appropriate medical advice before travelling, particularly where the safari involves strenuous activities such as gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, hiking, or extended travel in remote areas.

7.7 Clients must follow safety instructions provided by Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel staff, guides, park authorities, accommodation staff, and other authorized personnel.

7.8 The liability of Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel will be governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the country in which the relevant service is provided or the cause of action arises.

 

8. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

8.1 Each traveller is responsible for ensuring that their passport remains valid for the required period and that they obtain all visas, permits, health documentation, and other travel documents required for their trip.

8.2 Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel may provide general travel information and guidance, but the final responsibility for meeting entry and travel requirements rests with the traveller.

8.3 Clients are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the safari. Valuable items should be kept secure, and clients should follow the instructions of their guide and accommodation provider.

 

9. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By making a deposit, full payment, or otherwise confirming a safari with Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the client’s confirmed quotation, itinerary, invoice, and any written amendments agreed between the client and Amazing Jungles Tours & Travel.
